we're in the midst of designing our final collections at blanche! we design 15 looks in total, 3 of which we present in the grad fashion show in november. here's my inspiration board- you're seeing lots of 1990 vogue shots/ edward scissorhands and kim boggs (loving winona!!)/ kirchner's the fall of paris 1912.

school's been busy. well at least life in general has... i made mandy a bridesmaid dress but the only picture i have of it right now is this one on the beach! lucky girl! (she's on the left). so i''m in the bridesmaid dress business as all these weddings approach. i drafted this one from a picture she liked and it fits perfectly ya!

This May & June, a select group of 30 t-shirt designs will be voted on at www.holtscontemporary.com. The top 3 designs, as voted by a public audience, will be presented to Modern Amusement, who will select a final Grand Prize Winner.

also. when i was in calgary my niece and nephew modeled the towels i made them last fall. how cute are they? my little princess and wizard (although aidan would beg to differ 'i'm not a wizard i'm a tiger ROAR!')

spring break! i start term 3 on monday! hard to believe my program's half way done. i had lots of ambitions for my time off but nothing really happened haha. lots of what not to wear. i mean how many times are they going to put people in wrap tops? it's not that flattering. anyways. here's a top i reinvented for the lovely shayna.

last month i entered in the lg denim diy contest. sadly i did not win. i know. but i get to keep my jeans and i am proud to say that i'm the only designer who entered a pair of slouchy skinny/ boyfriend jeans! the best part is they paid me $100.00 to do it! are you girls ready to embrace the new slouchy skinny jeans? i feel totally gangster in mine.

i'm not picky. well not in this case at least. so here's the thing. i'm going to design clothes, post them online, get feedback and maybe even sell them! i often get asked where i purchased the clothes i've made for myself- as nice as it is to be able to say 'oh i made this' it would be fabulous to say 'oh i made this... and you can have your very own!' so i've landed in bloglaland. i mean everyone's doing it. a nice personal touch, if you're into the whole reality scene. anyways. i'll be posting sketches, pics, and well anything else i want to subject you to.
